As the founder of VIP Fur Babies, I have had a lifelong love of animals, having grown up in a household where the family dog was always a much-loved member of the family. That early bond shaped my deep appreciation for the role dogs play in teaching children gentleness, compassion and responsibility, values that carry through to adulthood.

I do believe that dogs are incredibly loyal companions who ask for little more than love, attention and inclusion in their family’s life. The joy they bring is truly indescribable, and their desire to please and connect with their humans is what makes them so special. With this love also comes a lot of responsibility. When choosing your dog this is a long-term commitment, often spanning well over a decade, and it’s essential that families carefully consider a dog’s needs and lifestyle requirements. Saying goodbye at the end of that journey is never easy, but the love shared makes it profoundly meaningful.

When bringing VIP Fur Babies to life, it was crucial to me that the business be led by someone who shared this same level of care, respect and affection for dogs. I am proud to have found that person in Lizandra who will head up VIP Fur Babies. Her genuine passion and dedication perfectly align with the values on which VIP Fur Babies was founded.

My name is Liza Santos, and I am the manager and one of the founders of VIP for Fur Babies. Together with Gill and Chelsea, I helped create a business built on genuine love for animals, high standards of care and a more personal experience for every fur baby.

Originally from Brazil, I have worked closely with dogs for many years, including breeding and handling strong, high-energy breeds. That experience gave me a deep practical understanding of dog behaviour, calm leadership and safe handling techniques.

My own dog, Luna, also played a very important role in my journey. Caring for her through behavioural challenges inspired me to continue studying canine behaviour, rehabilitation, massage therapy and holistic pet care, so I could better understand what dogs need to feel safe, balanced and loved.

Over the past three years, I have worked professionally as a dog walker and pet carer in Perth, building trusted relationships with dogs and their owners through reliability, patience and genuine care. I take pride in offering a calm, attentive and professional approach, especially for families who want high standards and a more personal service.

With a background in advertising, retail and business ownership, I bring more than pet care experience to VIP for Fur Babies. I understand the importance of clear communication, trust and a premium customer experience from the first conversation to every walk, visit and update.

My vision is to provide a luxury pet care service for busy professionals and families who want complete peace of mind, knowing their pets are receiving exceptional care from someone who truly treats them as individuals.

I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and had my own for 10 years, so I understand how much they mean to you. These days, I get my dog fix by looking after other people’s dogs and I genuinely love it.

I offer reliable and caring dog walking and pet services, tailored to each dog’s routine and personality. Whether it’s a walk, a check-in, or just some extra company, I make sure every pup feels safe, happy, and well looked after.
